We also responded in Nigeria after flooding in 2012.

Where is Nigeria?

Nigeria is in central Africa. Niger can be found to the north. To the east are Chad and Cameroon. On the west is Benin. The south coast of the country borders the Atlantic Ocean at the Gulf of Guinea.

Nigeria has a mostly tropical climate. It experiences a dry season and a wet season. The climate crisis has meant that the northern part of the country is more likely to experience drought. The south can be impacted by flooding. It is in the northeast of the country where Boko Haram have been the most active.
