ShelterBox will be attending a new national event for people interested in volunteering, developing their skills and learning more from a wide range of charities.

The Volunteer Expo is a 3-day event taking place on 7th -9th May 2021 at NEC Birmingham, hosted by Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland.

Volunteer Expo is all about showing individuals and organisations with a passion for giving how to turn their ideas and enthusiasm into lasting change.

With hundreds of exhibitors, engaging and informative seminars and workshops, as well as on-site volunteering activities, this is the place to find a way of giving back that works for you.

ShelterBox at the event


The ShelterBox disaster zone at Volunteer Expo will drop you directly into the trail of destruction caused by hurricanes, cyclones and conflict. You’ll hear from families impacted by real disasters and get a sense of what it’s like.

Visitors will have a chance to enjoy a family friendly immersive experience, an activity trail, workshops and live talks running throughout the event and a team of passionate staff and volunteers on hand to share information.
