No, big challenge events cost us as a charity quite a lot of money so we’re not doing these at the moment.
However, if you want to take part in a big challenge event and fundraise for ShelterBox you will need to secure your place through a ballot entry, and we can support you through your fundraising journey. Get in touch if this is the case.
There are lots of ways you can get your fundraising started, and it doesn’t have to cost! Local companies can sponsor your event, donate goods or lend you their services for free. Take a look at our, ‘how to run an event’ guide for simple ways to keep costs low. [link to document]

The main focus of our social media is to promote our ongoing work. So, the space to promote fundraising events is limited. However, if you can send us photos during the training/lead up to your event, or during the event itself, we will share these images with our social media team for consideration.
We’re still a small team so we can’t write press releases for every fundraiser, however, here’s a draft which you can use. If you need help get in touch.
Yes, but please get in touch letting us know how you would like to use it and we can send you the right logo to use. Please don’t use a logo taken from Google images or our website.
We’re ShelterBox. We provide emergency shelters, tools and other essentials so families can rebuild after disaster.
We work with people all over the world who’ve lost their homes to all kinds of disasters – floods, earthquakes, hurricanes or conflicts. We go where people are vulnerable, so you’ll often find us in challenging places that are overlooked by others. But wherever we are, we know one thing is always true: hope grows when you have a place to call home.

We have different flyers depending on your audience, for example: Rotary, general, or youth-specific flyers.
Clothing is also available to you, so you can request a T-shirt, a tri-suit or a cycling jersey. Please let us know your size!
Please email [email protected] if you wish to return or exchange fundraising materials. Please note we can’t accept worn items (you can try them on to make sure they fit).
A local volunteer from our national network may be able to help. Please email [email protected] and we will put you in touch where possible.
Not unless you have a personal relationship with them.
