A ShelterBox Response Team (SRT) is in Jordan responding to the Syria refugee crisis, following a huge influx of families flowing across the border in recent weeks.

SRT members Stafford Sumner (UK) and Ian Neal (UK) travelled to Zaatari camp in the north of the country to see how the Jordanian Red Crescent and United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) are coping with the thousands of families coming across the border each day:

ShelterBox is now looking at distributing emergency shelter with the Jordanian army along the Jordan/Syria border to temporarily accommodate the influx of refugees coming over until they register for Zaatari camp.
