5th September:
Another 200 boxes have been dispatched, with a further 800 boxes being prepared ready to be sent this week.

3rd September: Another 200 ShelterBoxes have now arrived in the New Orleans area for local distribution in partnership with ShelterBox USA.

1st Sept. 2005: The first 100 ShelterBoxes, each containing two 10-person tents, have arrived in the USA to help people whose homes have been devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

2nd August: ShelterBoxes are now being distributed by UNHCR in the Yei areas in Sudan. A ShelterBox 4R Team is visiting Sudan to help with the operation.

25th July: UNHCR request 200 ShelterBoxes for use in Khartoum and Yei areas in Sudan.

20th July: 50 ShelterBoxes were sent via the Blythswood Care charity into the Comenesti area of eastern Romania to assist people made homeless by severe flooding.

5th July: A new ShelterBox tent has been specifically designed for use in Africa and tested by the UNHCR in Kenya. The first of these tents will soon be delivered for use in Sudan

Early July: The Leuser International Foundation working out of Medan & Banda Aceh in Northern Sumatra requested 1100 ShelterBoxes to assist their ongoing aid projects in Northern Sumatra - these are being dispatched in five 40ft containers during July and August.
