ShelterBox Open Day Saturday 21 August 2010After the huge success of the Open Day in February, ShelterBox will open its doors again to the public for the chance to visit the HQ of an international disaster relief charity.
This is a great chance to find out about the work that ShelterBox does. You will be able to find out about all the items that go into a ShelterBox, how it gets packed and how it gets delivered to those in need.
Also, learn about our Young ShelterBox project, find out how we track our weather related disasters with the Met Office and speak to ShelterBox Response Team volunteers about their first hand experiences delivering aid in the field.
We know that not everyone will be able to make it down to this free event, but if you are in the area then please feel free to drop by any time between 10am and 3pm.
Address: Unit 1a, Water-Ma-Trout, Helston, Cornwall, TR13 0LW.

For those of you who can't make it along to the Open Day event, below is a video from our previous Open Day at ShelterBox HQ.
