In 2008 ShelterBox continued to send aid to the Somaliland region of Somaila. Throughout 2006 and 2007 ShelterBox sent over 1300 boxes of aid to the region where people were fleeing the civil war in the south of the country. In September 2008 ShelterBox sent 570 boxes which was followed by 190 in December.
