ShelterBox deployed 824 boxes in Kenya following violent protests that took place in the east of the country. ShelterBox set up a peaceful camp in Nukuru where the ShelterBox Response Team (SRT) managed to set up an impressive 200 tents in 2 hours with help from local scouts.
The deployment also saw the birth of the second baby to be born in a ShelterBox tent- Favour. Favour's mother walked throughout the night to reach the safety of the ShelterBox camp and gave birth on the same day that she moved into her tent
