Over 40,000 were left homeless after an earthquake devestated L'Aquila and the surrounding area in Italy. 2 SRT volunteers drove throughout the night from Cornwall to the affected area to ensure that aid reached those who needed it quickly. ShelterBox sent boxes throughout April which resulted in several 'tent villages' being erected around L'Aquila.
